He made this painting, "Allegory of Law and Grace," inspired by his friend Martin Luther's understanding of salvation which initiated and sparked the protestant Reformation (Bonnie). It was made in 1529 and currently resides in the Herzogliches Museum, Gotha in Germany. Cranach was remembered as part of one of the most significant artists in history.
